ARRESTS/CONVICTION
Valentine Graham of Carty Alley, Newtown, and Joseph ‘Limes’ Hanley of Fiennes Avenue, were both arrested and charged on Wednesday 6th August 2008 with the offence of praedial larceny. The offence was committed on 4th August 2008.
Harsha and Chad Elliot of John England Village were both arrested and charged on Wednesday 6th August 2008 with the offence of robbery, an offence that was committed on 2nd August 2008.
Jamie Charles of Phillips Village was arrested and charged on Wednesday 6th August 2008 with the offence of indecent assault, an offence that was committed on 4th August 2008.
CONVICTIONS
Synrick Hendrickson of Dieppe Bay appeared before the District ‘B’ Magistrate Court on Wednesday 6th August 2008 and was convicted for beating Charles Duggins of Dieppe Bay on 10th January 2008. He was ordered to pay $500.00 in two months or serve one month in prison.
A 17 year old juvenile from Sprott Street also appeared before the court and was convicted for robbing a 15 year old juvenile on 12th June 2008 at Dorsette Village and sentenced to six months in prison. The 17 year old was also convicted for the offence of battery on police which was committed on 16th June 2008 and sentenced to prison for three months. The sentences are to run consecutively. He was also convicted for carrying abroad an offensive weapon and resisting arrest and was cautioned.

Hanley was sentenced to one month in prison and Graham was ordered to pay $800.00 in three months or serve one month in prison. The two were arrested on August 4th 2008 when they were found on the premises of Kelsick Wilkin and Ferdinand stealing mangoes.
