POLICE INVESTIGATE SHOOTING
BASSETERRE, St.Kitts, July22nd 2008 - On Monday 21st July 2008 at about 11:45 p.m Police responded to a report of shooting at Hermitage, Cayon. Investigations revealed that an unknown assailant shot at Cameron Henry alias ‘Bounty’ of Hermitage as he stood inside his doorway speaking to another person. Henry managed to escape unhurt and the gunman fled the scene. Investigations are ongoing.
OPERATION
Police conducted routine stop and search operations on Monday 21st July 2008 at Old Road. Thirty eight (38) vehicles were stopped and searched for illegal drugs, arms and ammunition and traffic violations. Several drivers were required to produce their driver’s licence. One individual was arrested for carrying abroad an offensive weapon after a knife was found in his possession.
